Dunbar Youth Theater Arts Program
The Dunbar Youth Theatre Arts Program is dedicated to training 12-18 year old students in the performance styles and traditions of their ancestors and providing them with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge through public performance. Interdisciplinary training in acting, music, dance and technical theater is provided by professional artists with significant performance and teaching experience.
“Her experience brought something out of her that I’ve never seen. She worked really hard to prepare for her roles with the support of your staff and volunteers. Always honored for my children to work with the honorable Karen Saxon and Naila Ansari, especially. You all offer a stellar program and I hope that Haadiyah can continue to participate throughout the school year.”
“To me, Dunbar isn’t just a place where I can learn and grow in theater, vocal, and dance, but a community that feels like home.”
